My last Milky Way trip was to Under Canvas at Lake Powell - Grand Staircase in Utah.. This is a glamping site with safari style tents with indoor toilets and showers.
The tents were very nice and the food served at the lobby tent was very good.
The first day and night was great weather but the next two nights, a storm front moved in with lots of clouds and high winds. I was able to take good Milky Way pictures the first night.

The Under Canvas site was close to the Arizona border and we went to Page, AZ for some day trips.
One day we went to the Lower Antelope Canyon to see a sandstone slot canyon. I combined a picture from the slot canyon with a Milky Way picture from the Under Canvas site Antelope Canyon.
Another day we went to Horseshoe Bend and I combined a shot from here and with a Milky Way picture from Under Canvas site Horseshoe Bend.
