My last Milky Way trip was to the Great Basin National Park in northern Nevada. This is a very remote site and has a very Dark Sky to view the Milky Way.

The Lehman Caves tour was great but make sure you reserve well in advance.
We stayed at the Stargazer Inn in Baker, Nevada at a new cabin which was very nice.
We went out three nights to take pictures of the Milky Way. One night at some pullouts on Wheeler Peak Scenic drive, one night at the Ranching Exhibit on Highway 488 and one night at the Baker Archaeological Site.
